Dans le cadre de la construction du nouveau pont  "Gordie Howe Bridge", les origines francophone furent souligner dans "sandwich town". Le fameux canot qu'utilisait les francophones et peuple autochtones de l'epoque est ainsi representer.

In connection with the construction of the new "Gordie Howe Bridge", the french roots of Windsor had been highlighted. This canoe is a representation of the first french people and native transportation in this area.
